What I've Built
A collection of robots, systems, and experiments — from combat arenas to walking gaits. Each one taught me something a textbook couldn't.
Autonomous systems, legged locomotion, combat robots, and manipulation.
001 — LEGGED LOCOMOTION
The Sheriff — Bipedal Robot
Bipedal robot designed and built from scratch for an end-of-semester race and dance competition at Duke. Currently able to stand and perform rudimentary motions — walking in active development.
002 — MANIPULATION & PERCEPTION
SantaBot — Robotic Holiday Display
Dual-mode robotic arm system that autonomously identifies, grasps, and places objects in simulation and on physical hardware — validated live with consistent and repeatable results.
003 — MANIPULATION
Robot Arm Initials — Midterm Project
Programmed a robot arm to write initials autonomously as a midterm project in robotics.
004 — COMBAT ROBOTICS
Scrappy — 1 lb Antweight Combat Robot
1 lb antweight combat robot designed, built, and iterated through six competition seasons — achieving a 19-6 record at Duke and regional events.
Control systems, mechatronics, medical devices, and hardware design.
005 — MECHATRONICS
AutoSauce — Senior Year Capstone
Senior year capstone project — an automated sauce dispensing system designed and built from scratch.
006 — MECHATRONICS
State Fair Project — Senior Year
Senior year project entered in a state fair engineering competition.
007 — CONTROL SYSTEMS
Maglev PID Controller
PID controller for a magnetic levitation system capable of tracking step, sine, square, and random inputs at frequencies up to 60 Hz — the most dynamic controller in the class.
008 — STRUCTURAL
Pump Platform Project
Designed and analyzed a structural platform for pump mounting under load conditions.
009 — MANUFACTURING
Vise Stop Machining Project
Designed and machined a vise stop fixture for precision workholding in a mill setup.
010 — MECHATRONICS
Retro Arcade Rube Goldberg Machine
Electromechanical ball transport system built for EGR 121 — the team's design set a class speed record, completing two successful runs in under 8 minutes.
011 — STRUCTURAL
Pressure Vessel Design Project
Designed and analyzed a pressure vessel to ASME standards, including wall thickness calculations and safety factor verification.
012 — MEDICAL DEVICES
Prone Ventilation Table
Medium-fidelity prototype of a specialized medical table for prone-position ventilation of COVID-19 and trauma patients — accepted by Duke Hospital with plans for high-fidelity development.
